Andrew Grundy has been diving for around 20 years and a PADI instructor for over 20 years. He enjoys all elements of diving, from assisting with 1st time students in a shallow pool, teaching recreational courses, to Free, Tec and rebreather diving.
Andrew is a marine medic with BDMLR, this involves the transportation of unwell seal pups to marine medical centres and the re-floating of dolphins and whales, in the event of stranding.
Regularly Andrew assists with the clearing of the ocean tank at the local Blue Reef aquarium. This involves diving in the tank with the black tip sharks and other fish to clean the windows and tunnel.
Andrew worked as an accredited rescue diver for Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt on the status quo feature film, Bula Quo.
Also Andrew is the European administrator for the ‘Sandals and Beaches scuba diving fans’ Facebook group.
